Bob Maddams

Bob Maddams is an award-winning travel writer and film-maker specialising in the developing world.  He has travelled extensively throughout Africa and India, and lived for seven years in Ethiopia where he taught in the country’s only community film school.  As well as writing for Wanderlust and national newspapers, he is the author of two travel books.   Lights, Camera, Jemuru – Adventures Of A film-maker In Ethiopia was a Finalist in the Best Narrative Travel Book category at the National Travel Press Awards. While Doing It For George is a humorous account of a round the world adventure, which is also an odyssey inspired by the Hollywood classic movie , It’s A Wonderful Life.
