Alex is a photographer and writer and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, who has worked extensively for Wanderlust and other papers and magazines including The New York Times, the Guardian and Vanity Fair. He was runner up in the Friends of the Earth International Photography Award, won a Brazilian Press Award award for the anniversary edition of Latin America’s travel magazine Viagem e Turismo and a US National Magazine award for the his work on Departures Magazine.
