The hotel sits within a former cattle estancia and visitors can encounter Patagonia’s cowboy culture firsthand, meeting the baqueanos who help to keep the areas roots alive. They will take you out on one of the more  than 200 horses and share their knowledge about the park’s natural wonders. Also worth a visit is the hotel’s organic kitchen garden, the southernmost of its kind in the world and one of the region’s oldest. Learn of its history as you breathe in the smells and sample the fresh produce. You’ll soon see why the food at the on-site Restaurante Coirón tastes so good, serving up the freshest modern twists on traditional Patagonian dishes.

British Airways offers flights from London Heathrow to Punta Arenas via Santiago. The journey time is around 20 hours. Transfers from the airport to the retreat can be arranged and take around four hours by car.
