Floats, feathers and the most fabulous costumes. The world's biggest party returned to Rio de Janeiro after a two-year break due to coronavirus, and they came back in style - samba style.
The winning samba school at this year's Sambadrome was Grande Rio - who highlighted the prejudices against Afro-Brazilian religions from Evangelical Churches, by paying tribute to Exú, a god worshiped across many African cultures.
Grand Rio were among many fantastic schools in the parade. We've picked some our favourite pictures from the carnival celebrations below, so you can browse our gallery and feel part of the party!
