Make your thoughts clear in a feedback form, in person, or send an email to management – and, in extreme cases, contact the tourist board or travel trade body ABTA for advice.
Think it deserves praise instead? Shout about it on social media, and spread the word via review sites.
It’s great encouragement for businesses to do better, and lets fellow travellers know who’s championing ethical and responsible practices.
If we’re going to make travel even more sustainable, we need to keep the conversation going – and support the enterprises and people who are already doing their bit.
