Following the sell-out success of our Marrakech On Assignment trip last year, this autumn we’re inviting aspiring travel writers to join us for three nights in the jewel of the Adriatic: Unesco-listed Dubrovnik.

Led by Wanderlust editor Dan Linstead and Jonathan Lorie of creative training agency Travellers’ Tales, you’ll be exploring the area, researching things to see and do, gathering insider secrets and compiling material for Wanderlust. We’ll also have some quieter time to discuss how to write successful travel articles and pitch to editors. With a host of experiences to try, we’ll discuss the day-to-day itinerary by email before we go, so you’ll be able to help shape the trip.

For anyone interested in travel writing, it promises to be a fun, action-packed and potentially life-changing weekend.

Level: All standards. Beginners most welcome.

What's included

Three nights twin-share accommodation in a hotel on a B&B basis, tuition by your mentors and pre-departure notes. Transfers from and to the airport in Dubrovnik are included with flights booked through Wanderlust Journeys.

What's not included?

Price does not include: Visas, flights, transfers to and from the airport (unless flights booked through Wanderlust Journeys), meals other than breakfast, items of a sundry nature such as laundry, travel insurance, single room supplement £140. Flights are available from London, from £180 per person. You can book these yourself or we can book them for you.
