Lionscape Indus

Lionscape Indus is a UK based company owned and run by husband and wife team, Pete & Lynn Cooper. The combination of long periods of time in the field observing tigers, and the familiarity of travelling throughout India, Nepal and Sri Lanka, has left us uniquely placed to offer you a wealth of wildlife and cultural experiences throughout the Indian subcontinent. We will give you that “once in a lifetime feeling” every time you travel with us.

The secret of seeing wildlife is to spend the right amount of time in the right places with the right people. We have many years of personal experience tracking wildlife in the field to give our clients the best chance of being there at the right moment. Pete spends around four months a year in India and personally leads many of our tours. All of our holidays give you the best accommodation, your own private jeep for safaris and your own local guides. All of our holidays are designed and run to give the maximum benefit to both wildlife and local communities. We believe that responsible tourism provides valuable protection by its presence and that where a community benefits financially from its wildlife it is more likely to help protect it.

Having fallen in love with the diverse wildlife, we also fell in love with the people, heritage and culture of one of the most diverse nations on the planet. India offers endless opportunities for the traveller. It has a wealth of monuments, world heritage sights, languages, cultures, cuisines and religions. This combines with a fabulous landscape including the Himalaya, the deserts of Rajasthan, the forests of Madhya Pradesh, the beaches of Goa and Kerala, and the mighty rivers of the Ganges and Brahmaputra.

Big enough to deliver, yet small enough to care, we aim to take the stress out of your travels, leaving you free to relax and enjoy this fascinating part of the world.
We look forward to you travelling with us!
