This journey starts in the hustle and bustle of India’s capital, Delhi, and then heads to Jaipur, also known as the ’Pink City’. This vibrant and colourful city is a treat with its bazaars, palaces and havelis. Each spring, a tide of raucous revellers magnify the colours of Jaipur during the frenetic city’s Holi celebrations. Heralding the arrival of spring, Holi, the Hindu "Festival of Colours", is when locals and visitors jubilantly join impromptu and organised colour eruptions. This itinerary also combines the highlights of India. Discover the Mughal city of Agra, to experience the sunset over the Taj Mahal with its lacy white grandeur; perhaps the most perfect architectural monument in the world. Set on a steep rocky outcrop, Jodhpur’s spectacular Mehrangarh Fort is one of the most impressive in Rajasthan. We take a jeep safari to the traditional village of Bishnoi before heading to Udaipur, the "Venice of the East", where the famous Lake Palace is located.
