No other animal sets the pulse racing quite like a tiger. Join wildlife photographer Nick Garbutt in Bandhavgarh and Kanha national parks on a photographic journey to discover one of India’s most iconic big cats.
Our journey begins with a fascinating insight into the ‘real' India with an overnight train journey before we continue by road to Bandhavgarh National Park. Bandhavgarh, a small reserve though to have the highest density of Bengal tigers in India, is the first of two national parks we visit on our photographic journey. Here we stay at a relatively simple camp, with our expert hosts on hand to empart their in-depth knowledge of the park and its tigers.
Our second destination is Kanha National Park, where we continue our quest to view and photograph tigers. Tiger populations are now flourishing here and the park has a reliable reputation for good sightings and photography potential. Spending seven nights at the cosy and authentic Shergarh Camp, our main focus will be on tigers, however we are always on the lookout for many more of India's charismatic species including leopard, sloth bear, dhole (wild dog), guar (Indian bison), sambar and chital (spotted deer).
Nick will be on hand throughout to provide all necessary photographic advice and assistance; the tour is suitable for all levels of photographic expertise. Tuition will extend into the evenings where there will be informal photography workshops.

Please note: Skay’s Camp is currently undergoing refurbishment which is due to be completed in early 2019.
