Birding The Land Of Genghis Khan

From: £Contact us

This 16-day birdwatching tour visits Mongolia’s majestic landscapes, going in search of the many species that characterise them, some of which are very difficult to see elsewhere.

From the spectacular Hustai National Park, home of Przewalski's horse, to the taiga forests in Terelj National Park, we visit key wildlife sites, use the best hotels and ger camps, and travel by four-wheel drive on this fantastic holiday in the heart of Asia. Pallas's fish-eagle, saker and Amur falcon, demoiselle crane, red-flanked bluetail, Siberian rubythroat, Altai snowcock, and saxaul sparrow are all possible, while mammals we hope to see include Tarbagan marmot and grey wolf.
