Fly overnight from London to Kasane Airport in Kasane, Botswana.

Days 2-4: Chobe National Park

Arrive in Botswana and take a scheduled charter flight from Kasane to Belmond Savute Elephant Lodge, a luxury safari lodge in the heart of the Chobe National Park.

Spend the first four days of your African adventure exploring the vast expanse of savannah and marshland that make up the Chobe National Park and Savute Channel. Enjoy daily game drives in the company of expert trackers and guides as you go in search of the wildlife that makes this part of Botswana one of Africa's finest safari destinations. Here, along the banks of the Chobe River, which winds its way through the Kalahari Basin, you'll have the chance to see elephant, hippo, buffalo, zebra, lion, leopard, cheetah hyena and crocodile, along with a myriad of bird species.

And when you're not out searching for wildlife, you'll have time to relax and enjoy the luxurious surroundings of the Belmond Savute Elephant Lodge, which features twelve stylish tented residences with outdoor lounges, traditional thatched roofs and large private decks with easy chairs and hammocks, perfect for viewing passing wildlife or enjoying a private dinner.

The lodge also features a traditional Boma for dinners and local cultural performances, a 20-metre swimming pool, a reference library and a curio shop selling local arts, crafts and safari wear.
