The open landscapes of Western Australia and the Northern Territory are for many the real Australia – ancient lands brimming with Aboriginal folklore, gorges, rainforests, beaches and billabongs.
This exciting luxury holiday from Western Australia's cosmopolitan capital Perth to Darwin in the Northern Territory's Top End takes in some of this remarkable country's less-visited highlights. Explore Rottnest Island, a car-free haven off the coast of Perth, relax with complimentary yoga on the beach at your eco-retreat near Broome, try crocodile jerky at Darwin's Mindil Beach Sunset Market as poets perform in the open air, admire Aboriginal rock art in the unspoilt wilds of Arnhem Land, and paddle a canoe through the sandstone gorges carved out by the mighty Katherine River. Throughout your tour you'll stay at handpicked accommodation, specially selected for its character, location and exceptional levels of Australian hospitality.

Days 4-6: Broome
Fly north to Broome, from where you'll take a scenic heli transfer to Eco Beach, a multi-award-winning eco-resort on the Indian Ocean, amid miles and miles of stunning, deserted beaches. Popular activities include complimentary daily yoga, whale-watching tours and fishing charters.
