We go up the Marsyangdi valley and fork straight north to discover the Naar valley, opened to trekkers since only 3 years.
After going through the Kang La pass (5300 m) and through the famous Manang village, on the tracks of Maurice Herzog expedition in 1950, we go up to the Tilicho lake, at the bottom of the Â« Great barrier Â». Then we climb up the Tilicho pass (5100 m), before going down to Jomosom.
With the benefit of an excellent€climatisation, this Ê€œend of the worldÊ€ itinerary offers an other look on the high Tibetan valleys of Nepal and gives you the chance to almost go round the Annapurna massif out off the beaten tracks!
Protected by the Annapurna massif, this itinerary can be done in summer.
Just next to Tibet, this trekking that requires a good physical shape, goes through off the beaten tracks paths.
An hyperbaric chamber is systematically provided for that itinerary, in case of High altitude sickness.
