Relax on your light aircraft flight to Siana Airstrip inside the Masai Mara, an incredibly scenic introduction to the landscape you will soon be exploring. Transfer to Ol Seki Mara Camp, a luxury and intimate lodge found in Naboisho Conservancy. The 10 tents and communal areas are elevated on a rocky promontory so you will be surrounded by awe-inspiring panoramas, the views of the Mara stretching for miles. Head out on arrival for a bush picnic, instantly immersing yourself in the incredible landscape with a hamper packed full of delicious food. Once the sun has set on your first day in the Masai Mara, head out for a night time game drive. With absolutely no light pollution, underneath a sky heavy with stars you will be enveloped in the darkness, following the beam of red-filtered UV light in search for the nocturnal animals. With a heightened sense of sound and smell, expect a dramatic night spotting animals which remain hidden in the day and crawl of their dens and warrens.

Feel part of the nature on your safari experiences in this exceptional eco-system, your two activities a day helping to improve the local communities. The 200km2 of pristine wilderness borders with the Masai Mara, with no fences to block the pathway of the Great Migration. During the months of September and October the herds of wildebeest make the Masai Mara their home staying here till the smell of rain encourages them south to Tanzania in November. Watch on a morning and afternoon game drive as thousands of wildebeest graze, the peaceful ambience broken up by the hungry predators of hyena, leopard, cheetah and the lesser known aardwolf. The knowledgeable guides will lead the vehicles across the rolling savannahs, showing you herds of elephant, prides of lion and towers of giraffe.

Day 5 Take one last game drive across the Masai Mara before flying into Zanzibar and Stone Town, via Nairobi. Stroll through Stone Town’s labyrinth of streets and alley ways, the exceptional mix of architecture much the same as it was in the 19th century.
