Walk from the hotel to the falls and explore at your own pace early in the morning or in the evening when the park is closed. Witness the huge volume of cascading water as it pummels against the basalt rock, generating a permanent cloud of mist which helps to create blazing rainbows. End your trip with a stay at the wonderful Casas Brancas in Buzios, the perfect relaxing ending to a holiday in Brazil.

Once a simple fishing village back in the 60s, it is now one of Brazil's most upscale beach towns. Its picturesque waterfront has earned it the nickname of "Brazil's St. Tropez".
