Itinerary Summary...

Of course this tour includes Phnom Penh and Siem Reap & Angkor - that goes without saying as no itinerary could not. However, away from these two touristy centers you are immediately blazing a trail on the road-less-travelled. Visit Battambang, Cambodia's second city, relax in coastal Kep, spend time with elephants in Mondulkiri and seek the rare Irrawaddy dolphins near Kratie. A genuine Southeast Asia adventure!


Daily Itinerary...

Day 1 | Depart London for Siem Reap flying via Bangkok.


Day 2 | Arrive in Siem Reap, the gateway to thetemples of Angkor. Later in the day, you will visit the beautiful pinksandstone temple of Banteay Srei, famous for its intricate anddelicate carvings.

 

Day 3 | Today focus on the 'Petite Circuit', which includes Ankor Thom, TaPhrom, the Bayon amongst many others.

 

Day 4 | A morning on Tonle Sap lake and then head back to thetemples of Angkor for the afternoon.

 

Day 5 | Enjoy a morning at leisure in Siem Reap and in the afternoon travel to Battambang via river boat.

 

Day 6 | Full day Battambang, taking a ride on the 'norry' railway tracks.

 

Day 7 | This morning you will leave Battambang, heading by road to Kep on the south coast.

 

Day 8 | Free day to relax in Kep.

 

Day 9 | Explore the colonial gem of Kampot and fromthere travel up to Bokor Hill Station.

 

Day 10 | Travel overland back to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. You willspend the next two nights in the capital.

 

Day 11 | Today explore the Royal Palace complex and theSilver Pagoda, and later you will visit the sombre museum of S-21 and theKilling Fields, two sites related to the Khmer Rouge regime.

 

Day 12 | Depart Phnom Penh for the overland transfer toKratie. Spend the night on the Island of KohTrong in the middle of the Mekong River.

 

Day 13 | This morning board a small boat and cruisealong the Mekong looking for the rare Irrawaddy dolphin. Later drive to Sen Monoromin Mondulkiri.

 

Day 14 | Spend the day visiting the Elephant Valley Project.

 

Day 15 | Spend the day exploring the surrounding areawhere you can see impressive waterfalls, local tribes and coffee plantations.

 

Day 16 | Return to Phnom Penh by road today.

 

Day 17 | A free day in Phnom Penh before you board your flight latertonight to fly back to London.


Day 18 | Arrive in London early this morning.
