Mont Blanc Highlights

The circuit of Mont Blanc is one of the finest walking routes in the Alps. It is in reality a series of paths linking the seven valleys that surround the highest mountain in Western Europe, Mont Blanc. It normally takes a fortnight to complete the whole circuit, but for those with less time this one-week Exodus tour takes in the most outstanding sections with beautiful mountain highlights each day. Throughout this walking holiday we are based in the delightful chalet with dramatic views of Mont Blanc, and use a mix of private  bus and local trains and buses to travel out each day to re-join the next stage of our walk covering beautiful sections of the famous circuit. At the end of each day we return home for afternoon tea, or for those who wish, a dip in the chalet’s bubbling Jacuzzi.         *Temporary changes due to COVID-security measures. * *Last updated: 22/07/2020*   At Exodus we€knowledge our responsibility to have the most up to date information on anything that will affect our customers on holiday, and to communicate this to our customers as effectively as possible. A voluntary 14-day quarantine is in place for those arriving, but isn’t expected of our customers.   *Local COVID restrictions* Local regulations or guidelines in France require visitors to: Wear face face-masks at all times in all indoor public places (shops, public transport…) Maintain social distancing where possible, at a standard distance of 1 meter.   Your leader will reconfirm the latest local government advice and requirements on arrival.   *Itinerary changes* In order to run the trip while respecting local restrictions in place, we have made some changes to your trip. The main change is that the trip will not be run at the Chalet but rather based in a hotel in Chamonix (Langley Hotel Gustavia) The rooms are en suite. There is also a communal sitting room, large reception area with sofas and a comfortable bar in the hotel. The majority of the meals included in your itinerary will be taken at the hotel, but our local partners are also looking at some restaurants to add a little variety. We understand that this is a big change and hope you understand that we had to make decisions that would enable us to offer a great experience whilst adapting to the current situation.    The group size will also be capped at 8, to follow local guidelines.   The itinerary is only affected in terms of start and end points of the walks, but there are no major modifications.
