This is the perfect journey for those who wish to experience the true spirit of South America, from the Inca heartland to the home of the Gaucho. In Peru, we allow plenty of time to explore the Urubamba Valley around Cuzco as well as hiking either the Classic Inca Trail or our own alternative, the Wild Andes trail. In Bolivia, we will visit the great highlights such as the Uyuni Salt Flats and La Paz, but we will head way off the beaten track across the Altiplano, crossing the Andean spine three times on some of the most spectacular drives of South America.

In Argentina we stay at a traditional working cattle Estancia, we will ride out into the Sierra Chicas with the Gauchos on their Criollo and Paso Peruana horses, enjoy a locally produced Malbec and an Argentine Asado (or BBQ). We have time to explore the wine lands that nestle below the Andes the colonial city of Salta and the outdoor activities hub of Mendoza.
