Better Travel Photography - Photo tours with Steve Davey

The Better Travel Photography range of travel photography tours were set up by Steve Davey to complement his book, Footprint Travel Photography - widely accepted as the best resource on the subject of travelling with your camera. Steve is a professional travel photographer and writer and the author of the Wanderlust Photo Tips series, and one of the judges of the Wanderlust Travel Photo of the Year competition.

These travel photography trips will benefit your photography in a number of ways. Firstly you will be exploring some of the most incredible and photogenic parts of the world on a tour designed around photography and maximising the photographic opportunities. You will also be in the company of other keen photographers, benefitting from their enthusiasm and experience and certainly not look down upon for wanting to spend time taking pictures. Lastly you will benefit from the expert tuition and encouragement from Steve Davey - a professional travel photographer. Steve mixes nightly illustrated talks, personal tuition and practical demonstrationsso you learn more about travel photography than you ever thought possible.

As Steve is a working travel photographer we are only planning three departures a year. The key for these trips is coming up with unique and stimulating travel photography experiences, so the itineraries and destinations will regularly change. Each of these photo trips explores the highlights of the area and we are trying to schedule in order to visit a different and unique festival with each departure.

This gives the greatest possible cultural experience, as well as a fantastic opportunity for shooting portraits and experience traditional local colour.

The land arrangements for these tours are provided by Intrepid Travel, who have been running small group adventures for over twenty years and you will be fully protected by their travel industry bonding. The tours are also accompanied by one of Intrepid's Group Leaders.
