Trip Operator: Andean Trails
This tour could be considered the best way to see Manu. Travel in by land from the high Andes down in to the cloud forest until you reach the Manu Biosphere, then travel onwards deep into the National Park. This is an all encompassing tour of Manu which will maximise your chance of seeing as much of this wonderful destination as possible, in a short space of time.
The Manu Learning Centre, our first stop, is the first sustainable lodge to be developed in the region. This carbon neutral lodge was built using local Matsiguenka building design and is comprised of large airy buildings.
Romero Rainforest Lodge is located in the Manu National Park. It is built on the banks of the Manu River surrounded by beautiful primary rainforest. Its location is perfect for exploring the oxbow lakes, home to giant river otters and black caiman, not to mention hundreds of endemic bird species.
