A 13 day overland adventure, allowing you to head deep into the African bush in both Uganda and Tanzania to experience East Africa’s wildlife visiting Queen Elizabeth National Park, the Serengeti,Grumeti and Ngorongoro Crater for the chance for some of the most exciting wildlife experiences to be had on the planet.
This trip gives you the opportunity to gorilla trek, cruise the Kazinga Channel in remote Queen Elizabeth, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, head out on foot in Kalinzu Forest for a chimpanzee trek, and across the savanna with a trained Tanzanian guide in the Grumeti, as well as game drive in Tanzania’s national parks – the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.
Meeting in Entebbe, Uganda, our first highlight is Queen Elizabeth National Park, where we head out on a Game cruise amongst the Hippo pods and crocodile on the Kazinga Channel, and have the opportunity to trek chimpanzee In the forest. Next is a huge highlight for most – the chance to trek endangered mountain Gorilla onsides of the Virunga Mountains. Into Rwanda , the ‘land of a thousand hills’ we learn about the history of the country at the genocide memorial. It’s then off to rural Tanzania, where we stay in a remote village and the bush camp of the grumetti before hitting the world famous Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater for animal spotting in this stunning landscape that is dotted by traditional Masia Villages. Places visited include: Queen Elizabeth National Park, The Virunga Mountains, Kigali, Rwanda, Lake Victoria, The Grumetti, Serengeti and NgorngoroCrater.
