A week in Gorilla Lands

This safari gives you the opportunity to head out on one of the most loved areas of East Africa. We explore a little of Uganda spending time in Queen Elizabeth National Park including a cruise on the Kazinga Channel to view the hippo, elephant, buffalo and multitude of water birds. We can visit trek to cheeky chimps, cross the equator and browse the traditional drum markets of Mbarara. The big highlight of this trip is the opportunity to trek deep in the Virungas, to spend an hour with the endangered mountain gorillas as they play, eat and relaxing their forest home. This is a magical once in a life time experience. Before ending our safari in Kigali we have time to visit the Genocide Museum and memorial, a local orphanage and Dian Fossey's grave.

Itinerary Summary

We begin in Entebe and head to the remote Queen Elizabeth national park. We then head across the Equator and towards the Virunga’s where you have the opportunity to Gorilla Trek. Then it’s into Rwanda to finish in the capital of Kigali.
