Days 1-2: UK/Mexico
Depart the UK on a daytime flight to Cancun. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to Tixkokob, a small town 45 minutes from Merida in the heart of the Yucatán Peninsula, home to the stunning Hacienda San Jose Cholul, a former working hacienda now a small, luxury hotel surrounded by beautiful gardens and perfectly reflecting the incredible history and unique culture of the Yucatan Peninsula. Spend the next day relaxing at your hotel or exploring the region at your own pace.

Day 3: Merida
Take a half-day tour of the historical centre of Merida, built more than 450 years ago on the site of T'ho, an ancient Mayan city. See the cathedral, built with the stones of ancient Maya temples, Casa Montejo, the Governor's Palace and boulevard Paseo Montejo, fashioned after the Champs Elysee with stately homes, shops and restaurants before continuing to your next hotel, the delightful Hacienda Xcanatun, and spend the day relaxing beside the beautiful pool.

Day 4: Celestun
Enjoy a full-day tour of Celestun, a quaint fishing village 90km from Merida. Here you'll find the Celestun Biosphere Reserve, which is home to a wide range of flaura and fauna including the Mexican pink flamingo. Today's tour will include lunch and a stop at a fresh water spring for cooling swim.

Day 5: Temozon Sur
Transfer from Hacienda Xcanatun to Hacienda Temozon. The rest of the day at leisure to enjoy this splendid Hacienda, with the chance to indulge in a rejuvenating massage at the Hol Be Spa.

Day 6: Uxmal & Kabah
Enjoy a full-day tour to Uxmal & Kabah. The archaeological site of Uxmal is characterised by its highly decorated palaces and sculptures. Explore the magnificent buildings including the House of the Magician, the Nunnery and the House of Turtles. Continue to Kabah with its amazing Palace of the Masks, covered in nearly 300 masks of Chaac.

Day 7: Chichén Itza
Transfer from Temozon Sur to the Hacienda Chichen Resort. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, enjoying the wonderful facilities and ambience of this beautiful, eco-friendly Hacienda, renowned for its outstanding hospitality, exquisite cuisine and wonderful Mayan spa.

Day 8: Chichén Itza – Mayan Riviera
This morning visit Chichen Itza, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the 'New 7 Wonders of the World'. Meaning "at the mouth of the Itza well', this former Mayan city is one of the most important, and most visited, archaeological sites in Mexico. Following a guided tour of the site you'll enjoy lunch before heading to the sunny Mayan Riviera.

Days 9-10: Mayan Riviera
Your next two days are at your full leisure. Enjoy the beautiful luxury hotel and its white-sand beach, or perhaps opt for an optional tour to the spectacular Mayan site of Tulum, a pre-Columbian walled city set on tall cliffs above the crystalline waters of the Caribbean Sea on Mexico's stunning Yucatan Peninsula.

Day 11: Departure
Your last few hours of your Mexico holiday are at your leisure, before heading to Cancun for your overnight flight back to the UK.
