Norway’s coast and fjords are a delight from spring to autumn. Receding snows are replaced by apple blossom, giving way to lush green hills and deep blue waters beneath the towering peaks. Since our Cruise Walk programme was launched, Norway has consistently proven our most popular destination. There is no more beautiful scenery on Earth. Our unique shore walks and excursions include: Bergen: We walk past the old merchants’ houses and ascend Mount Flyen by cable car. Here paths stretch into a world of woods, lakes and mountains. Flm: We take the iconic Flm railway to the mountainous settlement of Myrdal, and then walk down to Berekvam past countless waterfalls with rugged peaks all around. Olden: Our walk takes us towards either the Brennsdal or Briksdal Glaciers, tongues of Europe’s largest glacier, the Jostedal Glacier. Eidfjord: From this tiny village at the end of the world-famous Hardangerfjord we walk past a Viking cemetery to the local lake and take in the sights of this charming location. Stavenger: On the coast in southern Norway, we walk amidst low-lying hills, exploring the small hamlet of Eiganes and lakes Stockavatnet and Mosvatnet. Skjolden: Here we are about as far east as you can sail in the fjords... our walk passes through woods and farmland high above Lustrafjord with breathtaking views. lesund: We take an easy, gentle walk on well maintained paths around and along the top of the Nvoya Peninsula to a high caf and viewpoint looking out over the town.
