I hear this is the best rafting out there, and it looks it ! I did a grade 5 in Peru, and that was more than enough for me, very scary !!
It's a toss up between the Zambezi and the White Nile in Uganda for me as far as turning me a whiter shade of pale! We did get out and walk round a grade six in Jinja Uganda, but it meant we could watch from the hillside as the other raft got wiped out on the grade 5 immediately afterwards; and then we had to do it ourselves ... somehow we made it, but one of my contact lenses didn't!
