About me: Finishing Uni was a big step...one which prompts everyone to ask 'Have you decided what you're going to do next?' It seemed like as good a time as any to do the travelling I've always wanted to. So I worked for a year saving as much as possible, and then sold everything I owned until I had just enough to fill a backpack. Then it was just a matter of booking tickets and seeing where I got to - by far the best decision I could have made!

Malawi, a 'World Challenge Expedition' I went on when I was 16 and definitely why I love to travel so much now!

What has been your favourite journey?
The one I'm on now...

What are your Top 5 places worldwide?
Indonesian Gilis, the Great Barrier Reef, temples of Angkor, Luang Prabang, Miami

Recommend a special place to stay
Time for Lime, Koh Lanta. Gorgeous little out of the way bungalows on the beach, with a difference. Time for Lime cooking school operates from their kitchens which is why we initially went there...amazing cooking and cocktails, and brilliant staff! The profits from the rooms and the cooking school go to an organisation that the owner founded called Lanta Animal Welfare, which is a rescue and sterilisation program for animals cats and dogs whose overpopulation has led to abuse...fantastic caus
