I did leave a brief description of this image but not sure where it's gone?I photographer tow of these birds at the Living Coast Centre in Torquay - an excellent place much better that your average Sea Life Centre. I do not know what the birds are but they certainly liked possing for pictures.

Aha!!! I've found a way to rig the votes - when I checked into the site this morning, I was still logged in from yesterday so when I happened upon this lovely creature, I obviously gave him (for, as DrG will probably confirm, it is probably a him), 5 stars. The system accepted the stars but then when I tried to add my comment, it dumped me out. No indication why until I looked at the top of the screen and learned I was no longer logged in. So, dutifully, since I did want to say something to you - one of my favourite snappers, as you know - I logged in again and my stars have registered, as have the new set I gave you!!!! Now then, who knows what use I could put this new found skill to? A flawed site, yes, but a fabulous image nonetheless, Px

Actually Pam, it appears you can keep on giving ratings as long as you are logged in!! Anyway it is a beautiful bird so deserves the votes! Anyone going to identify it for us?

First log on from darkest Borneo - currently in Miri in Sarawak... lots of rain so hiding in an internet cafe! Tarks et al... I believe this is an Inca tern, and yes Pam, a male. More on my return! Cheers, J
