The world according to spicy indian

Mountain/Desert/Ocean/Jungle... which one are you?
Mountains, definitely mountains. Specifically, the Himalayas.

What was your first great travel experience?
13 years old on a 3 week student exchange program to Russia right after the fall the of the USSR. As an American, it was such a strange feeling to be in a post-Communist country that still felt pretty Communist.

What has been your favourite journey?
3 day trek around Mount Kailash in Tibet.

What are your Top 5 places worldwide?
Nepal, Tibet, Machu Picchu, Gujarat India & New York City cause it's home.

Recommend a special place to stay
Hotel Sueños in Cusco Peru. Quiet, little hotel with views overlooking the town that make you wish you bought a bigger memory card for your camera.

Which three items do you always pack?
Camera, passport & anti-itch cream.

Which passport stamp are you proudest of?
Burma. Excuse me, Myanmar.

Which passport stamp would you most like to have?
One from each continent within one calendar year.

Where or what is your guilty travel pleasure?
Toilet paper. As a girl from the Western Hemisphere, I simply cannot drip dry.

Window or aisle?
Aisle. I have a small bladder & hate to bother people when I need to empty it.
