The world according to Rushfan2112

Mountain/Desert/Ocean/Jungle... which one are you?
Definitely 'mountain' but anywhere that's a proper wilderness....

What was your first great travel experience?
Motorcycling along the French Mediterranean coast as a teenager in 1974

What has been your favourite journey?
Anywhere I go with my wife but our safari in Kenya in 2006 will take some beating.

What are your Top 5 places worldwide?
Maasai Mara in Kenya, Morjim Beach in Goa, Vilamendhoo resort in the Maldives, Abu Simbel in Egypt and the English Lake District (not necessarily in that order)

Recommend a special place to stay
Vilamendhoo resort in the Maldives. Nothing is too much trouble - despite it not being a 5 star resort. The staff are amazing...and the dive school is just awesome.

Which three items do you always pack?
Cameras, Film, Digital Storage...

Which passport stamp are you proudest of?
None of them - they are usually a pain to wait for or to obtain a visa for before travelling. It's just a joy to get past the red-tape and get on with what we went there to do.

Which passport stamp would you most like to have?
Ecuador (Galapagos) and New Zealand.

Where or what is your guilty travel pleasure?
After spending my youth and early adulthood in tents, clean sheets every night and a comfortable bed.
