The world according to RoadtripAddict

Mountain/Desert/Ocean/Jungle... which one are you?
A bit of everything. I love dry places like the Outback or savannahs like the Serengeti as well as big cities like NYC. I can't decide.

What was your first great travel experience?
Spending an Exchange year in Auckland, New Zealand in 2003/2004 (aged 16) and being able to see the country from a local's point of view.

What has been your favourite journey?
A Round-The-World Gap Year with stops in Ghana, South Africa, Swaziland, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Australia, New Zealand, Ecuador (Galapagos) and USA. But within this Gap Year, my favourite parts have been my roadtrips: an Outback Overland Trip as well as a Cross Country USA Overland Trip.

What are your Top 5 places worldwide?
Australian Outback, New York City, New Zealand, Havana, Serengeti

Recommend a special place to stay
Bush camp on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater, Amedzofe Government Guesthouse in Ghana, sleeping in a swag in the Australian Outback

Which three items do you always pack?
Camera with films, Journal with pen and sarong

Which passport stamp are you proudest of?
Cuba

Which passport stamp would you most like to have?
Nepal

Where or what is your guilty travel pleasure?
Taking way too many photos wherever I go, writing everything down. www.cornelia-kaufmann.jimdo.com
