Then why not go North? I'm sure that you would love Nepal or Bhutan. That would save any domestic conflict!

Nice idea, Peter, but you can't sail to Nepal or Bhutan! We have to get some wind in our sails and need to haul out. That means south to Male (Maldives) for three months. Then we have a choice between east to Thailand or west to S Africa (via Mauritius or Madagascar depending on the piracy situation).

We've chosen Africa, because we're more interested in that part of the world, but even more interested in getting to the Americas, in particular south and central. Hope to get going in Feb 2013.

Your photography is great, I always make a point at flipping through your sets.
