Travel C.V. keithrickaby

About me: Over 50 ex-retailer, writer and Free Spirit that's been involved in retail for 40-odd years and has written about music, film, outdoor matters and the environment. A stroke clipped my wings eight years ago, but I started climbing again after six months (after all, I had had my head examined!). Travel is largely independent as I've only had two package holidays in the last 25 years - one to Austria (an offer I couldn't refuse on lastminute.com done at 2 weeks notice) and one to Cyprus when we decided to swap the thought of camping in the rain in Wales for something a little more sunnier... Fired my employer at the beginning of September 2013, so the fun started there with last day at work on Friday and drinks with Carrie on a hill overlooking the centre of Lisbon 24 hours later...

Occupation: Free Spirit... fired my employers two years ago and now blogging...!
