The world according to KANDDJETSET

Mountain/Desert/Ocean/Jungle... which one are you?
Ocean. I never get tired of being by the sea.

What was your first great travel experience?
Teaching in Kenya aged 18. Changed my whole perspective of the world and what could be achieved.

What has been your favourite journey?
Driving and camping round Australia. 3 months, 19,000km, a tent and lots of soup. Brilliant!

What are your Top 5 places worldwide?
Perth, WA; Hong Kong; Buenos Aires; Koh Phi Phi, Thailand; Iguacu Falls, Brazil/ Argentina.

Recommend a special place to stay
Sandanzas Hostel, San Telmo, Buenos Aires. Owned by 5 of the most welcoming locals amidst historic antique dealers and tango in the square.

Which three items do you always pack?
Pack of cards, swiss army knife and a good torch - all invaluable.

Which passport stamp are you proudest of?
Ushuaia, the end of the world! After a rough journey south through Patagonia a surprisingly relaxed city in Tierra del Fuego.

Which passport stamp would you most like to have?
Tahiti. Just. Looks. Stunning.

Where or what is your guilty travel pleasure?
Has to be a cheeky McDonalds in far off countries. Always feel ashamed for not sticking to local food.
