The world according to JCaroline

Mountain/Desert/Ocean/Jungle... which one are you?
I love them all, but I am a born water baby!

What was your first great travel experience?
In the last year of my degree, the month where you are supposed to be doing all your coursework, I headed off to explore Australia (well the tiny bit you can within a month).

What has been your favourite journey?
Driving across America in a convertible. Not the most adventurous of journeys, but a diverse and highly enjoyable experience.

What are your Top 5 places worldwide?
Oahu (avoiding the tourist hostpots)-a magical island New York- the ultimate city Japan-the country and the people are wonderful Phillip Island, near Melbourne, Australia- because this is where I got to see wild penguins and koalas New Zeakand- the place I am most deperate to visit

Recommend a special place to stay
Koolina Mariot Beach Club on Oahu. Away from the tourist bustle you can find a secluded private beach and get proposed to as the sun sets over the ocean!

Which three items do you always pack?
A good book (the only time i truly in enjoy reading is when travelling) Snacks (as a vegan I can find it challenging) Good walking shoes (as i tend to pick a spot on the horizon and head to it)

Which passport stamp are you proudest of?
Australia (my first!)

Which passport stamp would you most like to have?
India

Where or what is your guilty travel pleasure?
Booking a couple of nights in a comfy hotal at the end of any long trip.
