The world according to Huck

Mountain/Desert/Ocean/Jungle... which one are you?
I'm a Jungle fella cos when I jabber on it is difficult for listeners to separate the words from the breeze

What was your first great travel experience?
A Mediterranean cruise when I was just 17 - that's many many years ago now but I still remember it vividly

What has been your favourite journey?
Going to Disko Bay in Greenland by Concord

What are your Top 5 places worldwide?
1 - Tweedsmuir Provincial Park, British Columbia - excellent for wildlife, culture and scenery 2 - Greenland - Disko Bay area - wow that's a well different place to be 3 - Ecuadorian Amazon jungle - great insect varieties 4 - Italy and in particular Florence. It's a small city but what a culture punch it packs 5 - Home - and this should really be number 1 but it's fun to travel and return home cos that's always there

Recommend a special place to stay
India - anywhere to meet the people, experience the culture and appreciate the wildlife

Which three items do you always pack?
Toiletries of course. A book to read which I never get to read. Videocamera without which how could I relive the action in our holidays

Which passport stamp are you proudest of?
Czechoslovakia in the 1970's

Which passport stamp would you most like to have?
Antartctica if there is such a one there - but it will never happen as I don't fancy the sea ride!!

Where or what is your guilty travel pleasure?
My wife and I travelling together without the kids now well grown up and in lives of their own
