Placing the back of his hand on my forehead James asks "are you feeling okay?"

Today we returned to the Hotel Colbert in Antananarivo, the capital city of Madagascar.  My body sore and battered from traveling in the back seat of our minibus.  As a Pilates instructor I was thrilled to get a "core" workout.  Significant abdominal muscle strength was required to stay upright and avoid slamming into fellow passengers. Traversing the roads was more like slalom skiing.  Dirt moguls the size of our minibus were negotiated by rapid right and left movements, quick starts and stops.   Occasionally by backside lost contact with the seat, I should have been wearing a helmet. Fortunately I am not prone to motion sickness and had assumed I had survived the trip unscathed.

James noticed my unusual behavior at the end of dinner having cause for immediate concern.    I pushed my chair away from the table, stood a bit wobbly and stated, "I cannot finish my chocolate mouse".  I have had chocolate deserts all over the world including Paris and Belgium and I am sure I was suffering from severe chocolate overload.

When the French left Madagascar the roads were left to decay but at least the people of Madagascar held onto a more important contribution: chocolate Mouse.  The best I have ever has  at "La Taverne", Hotel Colbert.

After reading your very graphic description of your journey, I think I was suffering from sympathetic motion sickness, having cornered the market in it over the years.  By the time I got to the reference for chocolate mousse, I was convinced!!!!!
