What was your first great travel experience?
Going to New York on a family holiday when I was 14. My dad took us to America hoping to give us the travel bug, and it certainly worked for me.
What has been your favourite journey?
Travelling around New Zealand - beautiful countryside.
What are your Top 5 places worldwide?
Serengeti; New York City (the first place I went to and felt I'd be happy living there); Australia; Paris (an old favourite I never tire of); Grand Canyon (it blew me away)
Recommend a special place to stay
Amadwala Lodge, Johannesburg. Beatuiful place, fantastic accommodation, friendly staff, everything you could want.
Which three items do you always pack?
Head torch. Deck of cards. Aspirin (nothing else works for a hangover).
Which passport stamp are you proudest of?
Tanzania - I had wanted to visit Africa for so long.
Which passport stamp would you most like to have?
Costa Rica
Where or what is your guilty travel pleasure?
Nutella - I'm pleased to say they seem to sell it lots of places. It's just the best thing on toast.
