Yes it was cold but about 20 degrees warmer than it's going to be inJanuary & February when it will be -25 to -30 - now that's cold!

They seem to go in for wacky sculptures and staues in Eastern Europe - much more fun than busts of Lenin and statues of heroic workers. It's probably a reaction against communist public art. Have you seen digestivebiscuit's gallery of sculptures in Prague?

Yes I did have a look at digestivebiscuit's pics. They're great! I especially like the crawling babies on the tower and the random chair.
Sorry Fiona, I posted my comment under the wrong photo. I do like this photo too - very attractive moody and reflective atmosphere.
