The world according to Faz the Womble

Mountain/Desert/Ocean/Jungle... which one are you?
Ocean - the first place I go to is the coast. Not beaches, just elevated sea views like Amalfi!

What was your first great travel experience?
Being dragged on a carriage through the streets of Lahore in Pakistan at the age of 4. I don't know why farting horses seemed exciting then.

What has been your favourite journey?
The Gambia - end to end, not just the coastal part.

What are your Top 5 places worldwide?
Marrakesh - Morocco, Beijing - China, Ouagadougou - Burkina Faso, Amalfi - Italy, The Gambia

Recommend a special place to stay
Taihue Suites, Beijing (fantastic views, cheap, lots of rooms and space including kitchen ... wow!)

Which three items do you always pack?
Camera, plug adaptor, loo roll

Which passport stamp are you proudest of?
China

Which passport stamp would you most like to have?
Uzbekistan or Iran

Where or what is your guilty travel pleasure?
Cafe Latte (can be a challenge in some places)

Window or aisle?
Window
