The world according to emmawatkins

Mountain/Desert/Ocean/Jungle... which one are you?
I love snowy mountains (we don't have many in Cornwall!), but my favourite would have to be the African bush.

What was your first great travel experience?
The diversity of Costa Rica - the country seems to have everything - jungle, beaches, volcanoes ...

What has been your favourite journey?
How many can I have?! I think I have just experience mine - I have just spent almost five weeks travelling through South Africa, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia and Botswana - this had everything - wilderness, beach, lake, bush, rivers .... amazing. Travelling from Jo'burg tHrough Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia and back to Jo'burg - seeing the zebra and wildebeest migration in Botswana which we had no idea was happening! 3 months in Australia - The Barrier Reef, The Red Centre .... New Zealand - all! The Canadian Rockies .... The wilderness and lemurs of Madagascar ... Sri Lanka ... - need I go on...?

What are your Top 5 places worldwide?
Namibia's Etosha Park - so much game - it was like being in a David Attenborough film! New Zealand - all of it, Costa Rica Madagascar ... can I name more - Australia's Whitsunday Islands, Chobe's elephants, Sri Lanka's people ..... I need to add South Luangwa and of course, my home county of Cornwall! I need to add another - Bryce Canyon, Utah - see my pictures.

Recommend a special place to stay
No competition here - Track and Trail camp, South Luangwa ....

Which three items do you always pack?
Camera, lip salve and Haribo

Which passport stamp are you proudest of?
Zimbabwe, Laos, Madagascar - all fab countries!

Which passport stamp would you most like to have?
Darwins beautiful islands!

Where or what is your guilty travel pleasure?
Global wine tasting - I need to add Chile and Argentina!
