Skilpad, a part of Namaqua NP, just outsite Kamieskroon. It is famed for the massed blooms of spring but poor rains and blasting Karoo winds had made it the worst showing for 10 years. Typical!

Worst showing for 10 years looks pretty good to me.
Freezing cold, but sunny and wonderful crunchy snow here again today!
I have a rainbow of bikes (far too many I'm told) , must change my profile photo to the yellow (winter training bike) one.

Lovely Namaqua orange daisies - like fields of poppies - on my list of "images to take before you die".
