This was mid-August, and the chum salmon run was nearly at an end. Carcasses were strewn along the shore sporadically and the ravens were obviously getting a little tired of this bonanza, now only stopping for the eyes. There were some late arrivals still cutting redds (salmon nests) and creating a stir with their final throes.

Pretty scenary Jon. I'd struggle to get excited about a dead fish (whether I'd caught it or not), but that view is lovely!
