It is amazing to be in there when it is floodlit isn't it?

Dusk on the Nile (almost sounds like a Whodunit) was certainly my favourite time of day!

Thanks for all your nice comments about my recent additions. Unfortunately, no I do not have any more shots from my trip up the Thames on the sqaure rigger. It was some years back and during the time when we were keen competitive club photographers. it was only recently when my husband was clearing the loft that he found all our competition slides and prints that I had been nagging him to look for. Trouble was we had had a new rook put on and all the slides after scanning had to be meticuoulusly Photoshopped to get rid of all the many flecks of dist and fluff, it was a nightmare but I got there in the end. I suspect the other slides I took that day were considered substandard and found their way into the bin. We used to go through a huge amount of film and if we had kept everything we would have had to build a build a separate store! At last I have a use for all my precious pictures.

Just read what I typed and it was meant to read new roof not new rook!

I know just how long it takes to scan prints as I've only had a digital camera for a couple of years and only had photos onto CD for two or so years before that. So I'm busy working my way through the"back catalogue" so to speak!
