    Great timing! I suppose Ospreys nesting on a man-made nesting platform (I would suspect to see white storks in it). But why is the male (I believe) leaving with the catch? He is supposed to serve it to his wife and children!

    The website doesn't like me as I keep getting error messages trying to put on my photos.  I have to put them on one at the time and don't get a chance to put a description!  Anyway, these ospreys are non migratory living all year round on Long Caye.  A couple of years ago they made their nest on a canopy by the side of the yoga deck at the Off the Wall resort.  They had two chicks - the first in a number of years.  Man made platform made as a result.  I didn't have my camera when the fish turned up but managed to get it by the time the male left the nest.  Unfortunately I was on the wrong ISO setting so it is very grainy.  These ospreys were courting at the time and usually took their catch to a nearby log to eat.  I have a feeling the female caught the fish and bought it to the nest for the male but don't quote me.  I think they are protecting the nest site from the other ospreys and waiting for the eggs.  There was a storm af
