Mountain/Desert/Ocean/Jungle... which one are you?
Jungle, I love the humidity and the constant cacophany day and night. I feel at one with all the things I can hear but cannot see.

What was your first great travel experience?
Going to Moscow, and Leningrad, as it was then. These places were denied to me when serving in the armed forces. It was also my first holiday away with my partner.

What has been your favourite journey?
Without doubt, cruising the Galapagos Islands. They exceeded all my expectations and I was mesmerised.

What are your Top 5 places worldwide?
Singapore, Malaysia, Bali, The ABC Islands. Lapland

Recommend a special place to stay
The Istana Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

Which three items do you always pack?
Torch, Travel Guide, Camera

Which passport stamp are you proudest of?
Singapore

Which passport stamp would you most like to have?
Chile

Where or what is your guilty travel pleasure?
A few packets of chocolate digestives to dip in my tea at night back in my hotel room.
