One of your rambles through the Shire Bilbo.

I am indeed a man of the valleys, though you pick things up as you go. K

What a very English scene. I like the formatting of the picture.

Ludlow looks like the perfect English town, bilbo. It must be a great place to live.

it is indeed a lovely town, and as many of you have commented, the top of titterstone clee is perfect for viewing the shires. I have in fact discovered a nearby hamlet with the name of Bagginswood - sadly the hobbit holes there are a little on the pricey side...

    BB xx

You made me smile earlier with your festive greetings as Gaeilge: think that might have been a first! And I doubly smile when I come in here as a faint memory (I need loads of reminders from Mrs FT!!) told me Ludlow was where you were from. But I see from G that maybe you're not long afoot there...

You see i sometimes err on the hopeful side of definitely not being offensive when referring to you as a myW hobbit pal and then go; 'oh, too late, I shouldn't have said that'. Hence the broad smile at your self deprecating remark on pricey hobbit holes below!!

As for the other lest it needs translating: I saw the seasons greetings; very, very nice. Many (a thousand) thanks to you and and that you may bring fun and music from the Christmas holidays. Cheers...

(God, that sounds so stilted in English!!)
