White Floss Silk Trees by bilbo_baggins

We wandered past this little square with its church and these two trees which looked as though they were reaching out to touch you. (Thanks go to Liz for helping in identifying these unusual trees)

I found the white floss silk tree on google, and a blog on Google Images of the same shot, where one of the comments calls it a floss silk tree. Could that be correct?

Great research Liz! Many thanks. Actually if you look closer (and for some reason I didn't when photographing these) you can see white flowers and brown capsules in the trees. I looked at the blog - a lot of people have Smart cars there, I guess they are very handy for weaving through the narrow alleys they call streets!!
