The world according to becks

Mountain/Desert/Ocean/Jungle... which one are you?
I think each place you visit has a magical aspect to it although after a weekend on a Tall Ship I was put off any ocean going trips for a while.

What was your first great travel experience?
Back packing in Asia I didn't want to come home and family holidays on Islay as a child.

What has been your favourite journey?
I loved travelling through Sri Lanka crammed on the buses which had a habit of breaking down resulting in all the men jumping off and push starting them.

What are your Top 5 places worldwide?
I can't even begin to say as I haven't seen nearly enough of it to judge.

Recommend a special place to stay
My best experiences were staying in small family guesthouses as you can actually discuss their culture and be part of it.

Which three items do you always pack?
travel journal, insect repellant, travel towel

Which passport stamp are you proudest of?
Sri Lanka - I loved this little country.

Which passport stamp would you most like to have?
probably Peru but if i go there then i'd have to explore ecuador, bolivia, chile and easter island so the list is probably endless...

Where or what is your guilty travel pleasure?
Chocolate although it never seems as good as in england so i'll only have it once or twice before giving up.
