The world according to artydave

Mountain/Desert/Ocean/Jungle... which one are you?
I haven't experienced the ocean or jungle. I love mountains - but love deserts even more !

What was your first great travel experience?
My first great travel experience was a 3 week trip around Turkey - though by the end we were all a bit fed up with ruins !

What has been your favourite journey?
This is impossible. All my trips have been great. I loved sailing on a Felucca down the Nile, but also loved being on safara in the Okovango Delta - or tracking tigers in India - and being the only group in Petra in September 02.

What are your Top 5 places worldwide?
Okovango delta, sahara desert, petra

Which passport stamp are you proudest of?
East German - at checkpoint Charlie before the Berlin wall came down ..
