Snowdonia by Angela R
I lost this the other week when I posted it. It is one of my favourites of all the pictures we have used in competitions.

Good to see it again - 5 stars from me. I've left a message for Travel Dad on your thread, but don't suppose he'll comment!

I much prefer it in colour - but I'm not a great fan of b/w anyway.

Great shot of one of Britains best sights, among all the foreign photos, sometimes it a pleasent surprise...

Class, never there but we had them from there over here....and they went back and wrote that evocative line in their description of Fintown - 'Fintown is a small place, indeed the population of the entire landscape can barely exceed double figures...' But the deer push it into triple figures!!

Great shot (but i think i prefer the B&W - much more atmospheric) - a lovely part of the world and you have captured it perfectly

This is a very good photograph indeed - so much to it. I can quite understand why it is one of your own favourites!

Still class - soft edged like a watercolour. Noted your comment yesterday on http://www.gowander.com/photo-detail.php?search_term=Reading%20the%20koran&id=10575 (reading the Koran) and was intrigued. Today I understand, go look, can't trip over and back to copy the two comments....cheers oh most prolific wee squirrel. I'm now down in the mouth at Fintowns (the place) denigration - might go into hibernation again!

Thank you for your Christmas greetings, Angela. Best wishes to you both as well for a festive season and happy travelling in 2009. We are off on Jan 10 to West Africa - and hope to post experiences and photos on our return if we escape the voodoo witch doctors!

I saw a note somewhere that you are off to Eygpt on thurs....have a fab trip. Again! Still to post a few photos from there ages ago when my terrors were small, meek, mild and biddable....

Hi Angela, I got curios when I read your comment to Daves Stylized snow tree. I would guess that this is the one you are mentioning as to manupulation, right? Or maybe the flamingo photos. I would not call it manipulation, but improvement. A matter of definition! Cheers, P

What a lovely shot! The orange of the trees really makes it. I must go back to Wales one of these days.
